Ohio campaign finance records
TerraCivic doesn’t show Ohio’s state campaign money. Here’s why, and where to find it yourself on the state’s own sites.
The state’s site blocks automated access
Why it isn’t here
When TerraCivic first checked, Ohio’s campaign finance search showed a maintenance page. It now runs on a new data portal that turns away automated requests, including TerraCivic’s. It works in a normal browser.
Where to find it
| What you’re looking for | Where to find it | What you can do there |
|---|---|---|
| Candidate and committee money | Campaign finance data portal | Simple and advanced searches of committees, reports, contributions and spending |
| Bulk downloads | File transfer page | Large data files, including filings before 2000 (on the same portal page) |
| Rules and deadlines | Campaign finance | Deadlines, contribution limits and help |
Every link goes to a site run by the Ohio Secretary of State, or a page it links to. Links checked October 25, 2026.
